THIS CAMP IS NOW FULL!

It’s heartbreaking to not have space for every interested child. We are expanding our programs as rapidly as possible, now that we’re a nonprofit and offering them for free or by-donation. Our only constraint to serving more children is funding for more staff: if you have the resources to donate to support expanding our programs, please do so via the button in the top righthand corner of the screen. Also, please make sure you’re on our newsletter list (fill out the box at the bottom of this page) to hear about programs for fall 2024, Family on the Farm Days this summer, internships for middle an high school students, etc.

2024 Poco farm camp for girls FULL

Our eighth annual camp for girls ages 9-13 is June 24th-28th this year. We facilitate learning goat and chicken care, natural dyeing, knife skills, farm games, cheesemaking, piemaking, tending veggies, yoga, canning, popsicle making, and journaling. The campers create the community intention for the week, set guidelines for the group, learn chores, create tasty food, and practice self care all week, most especially on "farm spa day" (goat milk baths, foot scrubs, massage, mud facials, etc.)

For all those who identify as girls** ages 9-13 June 24-28th, 7:45-2:00.

Now that Poco is a nonprofit, we are able to offer our camps by-donation. The cost to Poco Farm (per camper) of this program is $400. If your family is able to, we would appreciate donations to fund the program. More details below at signup!

The facilitators this year will be Grace Malloy, Shanti Sandosham, Clio Calvin, Ireland Donnelly, Tierni Donnelly, Rose Gold Calvin and Violet Sanchez.
